The new daily unemployment benefit rate is 10.55 euros. 31 times the daily rate of unemployment benefit is 327.05 euros. For all clients who have been assigned unemployment benefit, the daily benefit rate changes automatically from 1 January and the person does not have to submit an application to receive a higher benefit.
This year, the amount that can be earned with a one-time job is also higher. People registered as unemployed have the right to do temporary work in addition to looking for work, without ending their status as unemployed. This allows job seekers to be professionally active until they find a new main job. From this year, you can earn no more than 290 euros in one month with one-time jobs.
Degree study allowance has also changed. Both working people and people looking for work can now receive a level education allowance of 327.05 euros per month for studying in the fields needed on the labour market.
This year, a new maximum rate of unemployment insurance benefits also applies, which is 78.55 euros per calendar day for the first one hundred days, or 2435.05 euros for 31 calendar days, and from the 101st day, 52.37 euros per calendar day, or 1623.47 euros for 31 calendar days.
An insured person is always guaranteed the minimum unemployment insurance benefit. The minimum daily rate of compensation is 10.90 euros this year. The minimum compensation for 31 calendar days is 337.90 euros.
