Jobseeker of retirement age
The Unemployment Insurance Fund (Töötukassa) offers everyone career information, job mediation, job search counselling (participation in a job search workshop or a job club), and career guidance.
If you are of pensionable age, you can also use other Estonian Unemployment Insurance Fund services. This is the case if you are not working and apply to the Unemployment Insurance Fund.
A jobseeker of pensionable age can access the following services if they need them:
- labour market training;
- support for obtaining qualifications;
- work placement;
- business start-up subsidy;
- support for entrepreneurship (reimbursement of training costs related to the company's field of activity, individual counselling and mentoring, and participation in mentoring clubs);
- adapting work premises and equipment;
- free use of the technical equipment needed for the work.
A person of pensionable age who has applied to the Unemployment Insurance Fund and is targeted for labour market training, support for the acquisition of qualifications or work experience, can continue with the labour market services even after they have taken up employment.
