Continuing the payment of work ability allowance upon reassessment

If you have been assessed as having partial or no work ability and you have submitted new applications for the assessment of work ability and the work ability allowance within 50 working days before the last day of the duration of partial or no work ability determined by the current decision on the assessment of work ability, you will continue to receive the work ability allowance for supporting the income if the period of partial or no work ability determined by your previous decision for the assessment of work ability has expired and the Unemployment Insurance Fund has extended the deadline for processing your application for the assessment of work ability for whatever reason. The work ability allowance will be paid at the rate previously determined from the day following the end of the previous period of paying the work ability allowance until the end of the calendar month in which the new decision on the work ability allowance is taken.

If you have been paid the work ability allowance on the basis of the above, you will not be paid another work ability allowance for the same period after the new work ability allowance has been granted. If, on the basis of a new decision on granting the work ability allowance, the allowance is higher than the allowance paid on the basis of the above grounds, their difference will be paid with the next payment of work ability allowance.
