  • Trainer's introductionKoolikell.ee's style and photos are inspired by Estonia's best-known school-themed short novel "Spring". The fictional village of Paunvere is the central setting of Oskar Luts' Tootsi series of stories. The story was the basis for Arvo Kruusemend's 1970 feature film "Spring", which has also been staged several times in Estonian theatres. The book is timeless because of its colourful characters, popular humour and lively action, in the shadow of which the author gently describes the deep feelings of the human soul. The photos on Koolikell.ee were taken in the setting and spirit of the action of "Spring", in the Paunvere parish school in the Livonian province, where Oskar Luts himself studied between 1895 and 1899.
